Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our team as a On-Call Security Armed Officer. As a On-Call Security Armed Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. You will do foot patrol designated areas, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when necessary.
Responsibilities:- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot- Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of company policies- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance- Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and maintaining proper documentation- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to identify potential security threats- Conduct investigations and complete incident reports as required- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns- Enforce company rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline- Follow proper protocols for locking and unlocking designated areas
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Must be 21 years old-Reside in or near St. Louis Area- Must have 1 year of recreational or professional firearm experience (receipts to gun range, ccw, etc)- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred- Excellent observation and surveillance skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations- Good physical condition, capable of walking, standing, and occasionally lifting or moving objects- Basic computer skills for report writing and incident documentation
